Group Therapy
Healing happens in community. Our groups will bring people together with others who understand what they are going through, guided by a licensed clinician in a small, confidential setting at Haven on the Hill.
Group Therapy Offerings
Teen Girls: we ran a pilot program supporting adolescent girls ages 13 to 17 through self-esteem, friendship stress, social media pressure, family conflict, and anxiety. It was very successful. Sessions combined open discussion, skill building, and peer support in a small, safe, judgment free space led by a licensed clinician. The pilot cohort saw real growth in confidence and connection, and it is the foundation for the groups we are now expanding into.
Perimenopause and Menopause Support: We are planning to create a space for women navigating the hormonal, physical, and emotional shifts of perimenopause and menopause. Topics include mood changes, sleep and energy shifts, identity and relationship changes, and grief around this life transition, paired with practical coping strategies and support from other women in the same season of life.
Moms with Anxiety Group: a group for mothers managing worry, overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, mom guilt, and the pressure to hold it all together. Members learn practical anxiety management tools while connecting with other moms who understand the weight of it, without judgment.
Teen Boys Group: we plan on running a boys group focusing on building emotional vocabulary, healthy coping skills, and genuine connection for teen boys ages 13 to 17, at an age when many boys are taught to handle everything alone. Launching on the momentum of our Teen Girls pilot, with a format tailored to how teen boys engage and open up.
